Billy Prince
Lead vocalist, Soul Diego's dynamic front man has a diverse range & tons of energy. Billy hails from Detroit and is one of the founding members of the singing group The Precision's, which enjoyed a string of hits for the Atlantic Records label in the 70's and they still preform on ocassion. Billy is recently back into the local entertainment scene & the fans love how he always makes them a part of the show.
Roz Hopson
Lead vocalist, Roz has an absolute Power-House singing range and the pretty lady can really belt out the blues! Roz is a frequent guest vocalist and performs with us @ such events as private parties, weddings, corporate functions and the larger clubs that we play.Tommy (The Tonemaster) Gunn
Lead guitar & vocals, Tommy Gunn was born in Wisconsin and has gigged & recorded in the Chicago area with some well-known rock/blues artists. A San Diego transplant for over 20 years, the Gunn’s rockin’ blues style enhances the band’s energy & danceability. His high-energy licks are often played while jumping up & down with his eyes closed!
Tim (Groove Daddy) Leen
Bassist & vocals, Tim started playing the bass at an early age and is heavily influenced by the Motown sound of his native Detroit. Tim’s bass lines and rhythms anchor the bands sound, hence the nickname Groove Daddy.Mark Hughes
Keyboards & vocals, Mark is the only homeboy in the band and comes from the mean streets of Carlsbad. Mark is a veteran player in the southern California music scene and his resume is filled with session and live performing. Mark’s playing & soulful vocals bring a down home blues style to the bands sound.Rob Adams
Drums & Percussion, Rob’s musical background is very diverse, covering Rock, Jazz, Soul, Country, and R&B. Rob no longer tours but he is still in big demand locally and he is regarded as one of San Diego’s premier drummers.
